Trombones
I love vintage horns and
from time to time I buy or sell one when the fancy takes
me.
Some years ago I followed a brass instrument repair course with
Trevor
Head at his
School of Instrument
Repairers in Wales and learned a lot about
brass instrument care and repair. Unfortunately I don't have the tooling for
major repairs but I am able to carry out some
essential repairs such as dent removal and solderwork. I am also pretty handy at
fixing slides which has proven to be useful.
Meanwhile my trombone 'herd' has been considerably reduced over the last two years.
Firstly because after downsizing to an appartment I no longer have my workshop
and secondly because work is scarcer these days resulting in less
live contacts. That said, I am still active, ready and willing to play. 'Have
trombone, will travel' is as true today as it ever was...
Below is a list of what I have right now. Actually not so much anymore but thanks for looking...

Footnote: we are all trombone players
and it is a small world. If you
should buy an instrument from me and you find that it does
not meet your expectations, I would always be happy to take it back and
refund you (less any costs of course) as long as the horn is in the same
condition as when you bought it from me.
